William R. Rusiewicz (Bill Sr.)

Roberta S. Rusiewicz resides in Allegheny Township with her husband Donald Phillips and is a third generation funeral director.  She enjoys boating, water sports, camping, and spending time with her family and friends. She has two daughters and four grandchildren. Roberta is a graduate of Arnold High School, Salem College (now Salem University) with a B. A. in Elementary Education, and Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science.  She is the first female of the Rusiewicz family to become a licensed funeral director.  She is a member of Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, Christian Mothers of St. Mary Church, Business and Professional Women’s, Salvation Army, and Catholic Daughters of America.


Kristen Rusiewicz Dunn lives on a farm in Upper Burrell with her husband and their six children.  She enjoys horses, dogs, waterskiing, tennis, the outdoors, and mostly spending time with her family. Kristen graduated from Burrell High School in 1988, received her bachelors degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1992, and graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1993. She interned with her father, William R. Rusiewicz, and achieved her funeral director's license in 1994, becoming the first of the fourth generation of the Rusiewicz Family of Funeral Directors, proud to serve the AK Valley since 1914. She is Vice President of Rusiewicz Funeral Homes, Inc.



William W (Bill Jr.) Rusiewicz, a life long resident of Lower Burrell, is a fourth generation funeral director.  He enjoys boating, waterskiing, sports, spending time with friends and is an avid Steeler and WVU football fan.  Bill is a 1999 graduate of Burrell High School, a 2003 graduate of West Virginia University with a B.S. in Business Administration, a 2005 graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, becoming a licensed funeral director in 2006, and a 2007 graduate of Duquesne University with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
